From 1992 to 1994, Osvaldas Balakauskas served as the first
Ambassador of Lithuania to Portugal after the re-establishment of diplomatic relations.
From 1993 to 1996, Alexandro Lencastre da Veiga served as the first Ambassador of Portugal to Lithuania after the re-establishment of diplomatic relations (resided in Denmark).
